This cognitive activity helps 2-year-old child to develop logic and concentration, by letting him/her sort objects according to categories (crayons, pegs, cars....)
This activity also has two more extensions; by increasing the number of objects (stamps, sharpeners,.etc.) and inviting the child to sort upon subcategories (more than one category under a main category) for example sorting (plastic, metal, big and small spoons)-all under one main category "spoons"-
This activity also develops organizational skills and practice fine motor skills.
